Aluminium windows suit contemporary architecture and projects where frame appearance is a priority. Choose an opening arrangement to suit the room and ventilation requirements. The available system, glazing, finish and overall sizes will determine the final specification.

COR 70 Industrial
This 70mm system accommodates inward and outward opening types. Cortizo publishes thermal, acoustic and weather-test results for specific configurations rather than for aluminium windows as a whole.
Performance-led choices
Glazing, sash size, hardware and frame system must be considered together. We will match your drawings and priorities to an appropriate available Cortizo configuration.
ENERGY PERFORMANCE
Energy ratings explained.
Aluminium windows rely on a thermal break and the glass unit for their energy performance. Slimmer sightlines mean more glass, which makes the unit specification especially important.
Thermal break
Cortizo aluminium systems use polyamide thermal breaks between the inner and outer frame to reduce heat transfer through the metal. Frame depth and the break design vary between systems.
U-values by system
Cortizo publishes thermal, acoustic and weather-test results for specific system configurations rather than for aluminium as a whole. Deeper systems such as COR 80 are aimed at the lowest heat-loss figures.
Glass does the heavy lifting
Double or triple units, low-emissivity coatings, argon fill and warm-edge spacers usually make the largest difference. We will confirm the achievable figure for your chosen configuration.

Choose the finish.
Cortizo aluminium is powder coated to your chosen RAL reference, with matt, satin, textured and wood-effect finishes available across the range. Dual-colour frames allow a different internal and external finish.
